Meet the ladies

Phyllis Fay

Phyllis Fay began her career in the field of education. She has taught grades 6 through 12. She was a high school administrator for 19 years before returning to the classroom in an alternative educational setting. Her experience working with a variety of students and managerial skills will be evident when you see her in action. She brings those same skills to the quilting industry. You will find her lessons well planned for a productive, as well as entertaining day.
Beth Sidley

Beth Sidley's passion for quilting led her to open a quilt shop. Beth soon found herself on the road more often than in the shop. The demand for Beth to teach a variety of different techniques throughout the country continues to grow. She understands the multitude of tasks a shop owner has to complete and respects the value of time. Beth is the driving force behind the concept of Tucker University. Beth also designs patterns under the name of Park Bench Design.
Deb Tucker

Deb Tucker is the Creative Kingpin and originator of all the tools and techniques that form the basis for the Studio 180 Design products. The Studio 180 Design tools help quilters build their skills and accuracy by oversizing the fabric just enough to trim your units to the perfect size. Each tool offers multiple sizes, and left and right handed cutting instructions. These tools and techniques are the foundation for Tucker University.
Tucker University Mission Statement

The mission of the Tucker University curriculum is to make it simple for shop owners to implement a series of technique courses based on Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design tools. By using the Tucker University curriculum, shop owners and their instructors will be able to concentrate their time on tasks that directly impact their customers and generate income rather than course planning and preparation.
